Validated diagnostic method

Quantitative evaluation system parameters Neurobia Research are based on standardized motor assessment scales internationally accepted as the International Cooperative Ataxia Rating Scale ( ICARS ) and the Unified Parkinson ‘s disease rating scale ( UPDRS ) .

Our parameters have been matched and validated with respect to such scales in dozens of patients evaluated with the method.

The calculation of the quantitative parameters of the assessment is based on its own mathematical algorithms , the reliability and stability has also been demonstrated in these investigations.

Kinect provides a steady stream of data relevant body points (nodes ) that tell us about the patient’s movements : trajectory , velocity, acceleration .

These data can be used to compare the regularity of repeated maneuver or to detect sudden movements or tremors ( existence of pathologies ) .

Our algorithms , involving various branches of mathematics, have been developed in collaboration with professionals Neuro – Rehabilitation and tested in multiple patient samples.
